Hotel Dubrovnik in Villa Gesell Faces Legal Issues

In August of this year, the Direction of Private Buildings and Public Spaces of Villa Gesell halted the work that was being carried out at the Dubrovnik hotel due to lack of the necessary municipal authorization. Following a notice, the owners requested authorization only for certain specific tasks, such as changing carpentry, flooring and bathroom coverings, interior painting, and removal of countertops. These tasks were authorized on the condition that the carpentry changes would only be made on the ground floor and not at height.

Subsequently, the owners submitted a technical report related to the installation of an elevator in the reception area and requested authorization for the construction of a partition for this purpose. They also requested the feasibility of installing the elevator, which led the Municipality to require the formal submission of the necessary documentation for this work.

Regarding the collapse that occurred, although no precise details were provided, it was mentioned that the collapsed part was being modified illegally and irregularly.
